I was wondering if the piercing industry in Australia is as overcrowded as it in is the US. Or would I have a harder time finding an apprenticeship down there or here in the states

I think everywhere is overcrowded with people in this industry, the downside to Australia is the lack of decent laws and regulations.

I find there are way too many ‘hairdresser’ piercers offering shitty service and even worse jewellery.

Finding an apprenticeship is more about your personal presentation and willingness to learn and work for free/little money while training.
